Every teacher signs a Data Processing Agreement that establishes Wipeboard Education as a school official under FERPA. Student education records are used solely for the educational function — nothing else.

We collect only what is necessary for the classroom function. For students under 13, school authority consent is documented at enrollment. Student records are automatically deleted at year end.
Student names and data never reach AI providers
AI features are available to teachers only, using generic educational context — subject, grade level, learning objectives. No student-identifiable information is ever sent to any AI provider.
